Marine Debris

Since I am on the paddling team, I suggested that we do beach clean ups once a month at different beaches. We are going to do beach clean ups starting with our halau. Also, we are going to put trash cans near our halau since tourists like to hang out there because of our tables and because it is so close to the rainbow bridge and surf and sea. So far, the new trash cans are filled up and we have to empty them every other day. Our next beach clean up will be next month at Keehi lagoon.
